Don't Miss "Miami Bombshells, The Musical"!

Walk, drive, beg, borrow...but GO SEE "Miami Bombshells, The Musical" at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre!

We went last night, without knowing in advance that all the real "Bombshells" on which this play is based were going to be there! What a delight it was to see and hear their true stories that all of us can relate to, and to meet these courageous women after the show.

Creating a new musical is no easy task, and this is a real story about real women from our community! This is a truly unique experience. Going to live theatre takes you out of your own life for a few hours; we owe it to ourselves! Just grab a girlfriend or two and GO!

In case you haven't heard, here's the story:

Based on the true story of The Miami Bombshells, a circle of six perfectly imperfect women who grew from stressed out strangers to lifelong friends. By airing their dirty laundry, through laughter, tears and unbreakable spirit(s), they support one another in everything from love and family, to sex and secrets. In the process they remind us all that being a real life Bombshell is more about being courageous than curvaceous.

Performances will be held Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. from January 14 – February 8, 2009.
