Women walk out on stress, deposit guilt at the door and go to Camp Bombshell!

ORANGE SPRINGS, FLORIDA, March 21, 2006- The Miami Bombshells are planning their third camp after bringing together women from all over the country for female bonding, fun, good health and well-being as they live like kids again.
They sleep on bunk-beds in rustic cabins, play color wars, eat chocolate, drink wine and share life stories with total strangers. The Camp weekends are organized by the Miami Bombshells, authors of "Dish & Tell: Life Love and Secrets" (William Morrow/Harper Collins). See www.miamibombshells.com.
Fall Camp 2005 and Spring Camp 2006 attracted nearly 80 women each, from their 20s to 70s, to play kickball, burn their worries, enter pie eating contests, and to recognize they're not alone in their struggle to juggle their busy lives.
Fall 2006 brings at least two more Bombshell events: Spa Bombshell, a spa/camp hybrid in the Connecticut Mountains (September); and Camp Bombshell November 2-5, in Orange Springs, Florida. This summer, Camp Bombshell takes a spiritual twist, with a trip to sacred sites in the Peruvian Andes June 24-July 5.
Campers find support within the "Bombshell Circles," a process of sharing burdens and secrets without passing judgment, created by the Miami Bombshells.
"Our Circles at camp are truly cathartic for many who released burdens they carried inside for years, simply by verbalizing them," said Miami Bombshell Patricia San Pedro. "Here, women actually put themselves at the top of their To Do lists, for a change," said Miami Bombshell Tammi Leader Fuller.
Campers overcame their fears by climbing a 40-foot wall, then zip-riding down, and sang songs while toasting s'mores over a blazing bonfire. And in keeping with Miami Bombshell tradition, "Mad Housewife" and "Working Girl" wines flow all weekend, along with 20 pounds of chocolate.
Deni Sher, 55, from Florida can't wait to go to Fall Camp: "Every woman needs a safe harbor to drop her bombshells, a place where ears listen, hearts respond and growth can begin. Camp Bombshell is that place."
